I have to tell you about some of my new pages! I have added pages of wordlists from pre-kindergarten level to third grade. These wordlists are also known as sight words or high frequency words.
It's a good idea to practice these words with your child if they are having difficulties in with their fluency or their reading rate is considered slow for their grade. I also added wordlists of Special Word Groups, such as the days of the week, months of the year, numbers, colors, and holidays.
Then, and this is the best part... I took the words from the Pre-K list and wrote a story about Clyde Clown and his search for a new nose. I hope you enjoy it!
To help you know what level and type of book to share with your child, please click on the Variety of Books tab, on that page you will find a link to a page about what type of book to enjoy with your child based on their age.
I added a page about series books for kids, which are in order by grade level.
You'll also find pages with suggested book lists in order by grade level.
I hope you find this information useful, please let me know what you think!
To help with comprehension, I have added a page of tips to help your child stay focused on what they are reading, please click on the Comprehension button to go straight to these great tips!
Thanks for visiting and check back often as I will be adding pages soon.
